Finding a first apartment after college can be overwhelming, especially for new graduates navigating the rental market for the first time. For my senior capstone project, my team and I created Birdseye, a collaborative platform that helps users collect, standardize, and analyze apartment listings in one place, making it easier to compare options and make informed housing decisions.
New grads can use Birdseye's Chrome extension to pull listings from any housing site and automatically consolidate them into a spreadsheet with a single click.
Birdseye transforms scattered apartment listings into a structured, collaborative spreadsheet where housemates can compare options, contribute research, and discuss listings in context.
The map view lets users save local spots to better understand what daily life might look like in a neighborhood, from grocery stores and gyms to restaurants and transit options.
