Supernormal is an AI-powered meeting platform that automatically captures, transcribes, and summarizes meetings — turning conversations into structured notes, action items, and next steps. As the first design hire, I owned product design across the full user lifecycle, partnering directly with the cofounders on product direction while shipping quickly and thoughtfully across acquisition, onboarding, and retention.
Task Threads
Meeting conversations often produce valuable context and action items that get lost the moment the call ends, forcing users to dig back through transcripts to reconstruct what needs to happen next. I designed Task Threads to let users spin up focused threads directly from their meeting conversations — carrying forward the right context to help them draft documents, generate moodboards, and complete action items without losing the thread of what was discussed.
Desktop App Widget
During a live meeting, users had no lightweight way to confirm a call was being captured or to act on key moments in real time . I designed a floating desktop widget that surfaced capture status at a glance and let users control recording and flag real-time highlights directly from any call, without ever leaving their meeting.
Supernormal automatically detects when a meeting is starting and prompts users to capture it, so they never miss the conversation.
The menu bar widget, accessible via a keyboard shortcut or a single click, lets users quickly access Supernormal’s core actions, such as instantly starting a note, launching a new task, or jumping back into a recent meeting or artifact.
